DigiPlay Digital Video Player

The DigiPlay delivers playback of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 streams at professional quality standards of up to 15 Mbps*, replacing laserdiscs and linear tapes such as SVHS and Betacam with the superb quality of digital video. The DigiPlay unit offers analog component and Betacam-style* output for Professional Broadcast VTR replacement applications. The DigiPlay also features genlock* input with video pass-thru for ad insertion and other professional video applications (Y/C or composite).

The DigiPlay is a complete solution in a rack-mountable chassis with composite (BNC), S-Video (mini-DIN), RGB Component, and analog component (YUV) output connectors*. The unit decodes MPEG streams to NTSC-M, NTSC 4.43, PAL-M, and PAL B/G output formats with balanced stereo audio for professional sound and videos.

Conforming to the most stringent broadcast video quality standards ISO Broadcast Quality ISO 11172 (MPEG-1); ISO 13818 (MPEG-2) the DigiPlay is simply the best professional solution for video-on-demand, ad insertion, broadcast automation, video wall, RGB projection systems, and other professional digital video applications that require the most reliable video playback technology available. The DigiPlay Model DP comes in a "desktop" style. Ideal for economical applications w/limited video storage needs. This entry level unit will allow digital playback without the expense of larger more robust systems.	DigiPlay Model DP-R comes in a heavy duty 19" rack mount type chassis. The DP-R can include redundant power supply. An optional expansion chassis can easily be added for virtually limitless video storage	The DigiPlay Model DP-EXR has a built in expansion chassis for housing 9 HD’s. Every unit includes redundant power supplies. Optional expansion chassis’ can be easily added for additional videostorage.
